Crafts4you is a specialty online craft and gift store designed for your shopping comfort and peace of mind. We offer a simple ordering system with independent online straight through credit card processing via Westpac as well as more traditional fax, phone and mail order services.
The online ordering process is simple, secure and straight forward:
- Register with a user name (your email address) and a
password.
- Browse the store and add to your order.
- Go through the checkout and enter your billing and
specific delivery address details.
- Enter any discounts or gift certificate information
and any specific instructions.
- Check your order is correct and agree to the terms
and conditions.
- Select your method of payment (Bankcard, Mastercard
or Visa Card are preferred).
- Process your payment and receive your confirmation email from Westpac. A tax invoice will be sent to your billing address.
We know that increasing your confidence in our
process is very important and have chosen to use a Comodo 128bit SGC certificate for SSL
encryption combined with a floating Trustlogo. We do not handle or store your
credit card details on our website. Credit card transactions are processed independently by Westpac using Webadvantage, the internet credit card payment service of Australia's oldest bank.
Fax, mail or phone orders are just as easy.

How safe is shopping at crafts4you?
We aim to make your shopping experience as enjoyable and
safe as shopping at a physical store. Your privacy is very important to us and
to protect your confidential data we have invested in a 128bit SGC SSL certificate from Comodo, a world leader
in Internet data security. This certificate confirms this web site has been
authenticated and verified and enables sensitive data to be safely encrypted. In
adition, a TrustLogo, using real-time identity assurance

How can I pay for my goods?
Crafts4you prefers payment via credit card and we accept Visa card, Bank Card and Master Card. We do not directly handle your credit card details because our website interfaces with Westpac's Webadvantage credit card facility. For your peace of mind, we do not handle your credit card details when you process your payment online.
Personal or bank cheques are accepted when drawn in Australian dollars and from an Australian branch of a bank. Your order will be dispatched after notification of successful funds clearance. Crafts4you do not accept overseas personal cheques or bank drafts.
Money order or telegraphic transfers are also accepted and telegraphic transfer details can be provided on request.
All transactions are charged in Australian dollars (AUD) and a suggested website for currency conversion/cross rate information is http://www.westpac.com.au.

Can I pick up my goods directly from Crafts4you?
Crafts4you is an Australian company based in Western
Australia that focusses on providing quality craft products and gifts with personalized service at a competitive price over the internet. This is proven by our many clients who purchase our products from around Australia and overseas. We chose not to have a traditional storefront and have simplified our postage and handling cost structure to ensure that every customer receives value for money. This means that our local customers save travel time and fuel costs and orders from more distant customers are despatched very promptly (same day where possible). Pick up of your order from our offices is by appointment only.

We update our site each business day to ensure that our information is as fresh as possible and stock levels are maintained.

Do your prices include Australian GST (Goods and Services tax)?
Crafts4you include Australian GST (10%) in
the price of all items. If you are purchasing from overseas, Australian GST is
deducted at the final stage of the checkout process. Delivery charges are GST inclusive for Australian states and territories and GST exclusive for all other destinations.

How quickly will my order be processed and is the stock available?
Crafts4you aim to fulfil your order and despatch it by close of the next business day. When this is not possible one of our staff will contact you via email, fax or phone as soon as practicable.
Crafts4you work hard to ensure that the inventory is up to date and that items so marked are in stock. However, we fill orders on a chronological basis and, if an item has proved very popular this item maybe on back order.
Delivery of some items, for example exquisite tapestries and stitching kits, may take 5+ days for interstate and 30+ days for overseas sourced product.
If an item you have ordered is out of stock, our friendly Crafts4you staff will advise you with a projected delivery date. If this timeframe is not suitable, you may request a refund or substitute another item.

I do not know what to order, do you have gift certificates?
Crafts4you offer two levels of gift certificate: A$20 and A$50. These gift certificates are uniquely identified and may be purchased and sent to friends or relatives for use against purchases from crafts4you website products. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and no credit is given if the cost of the goods is less than the value of the certificate. The instructions on how to use the gift certificate are printed on each certificate.

Can I have my purchase gift wrapped?
Gift wrapping is available at a nominal charge for each item purchased if requested. However, please note that only one delivery address is acceptable per order. The tax invoice/receipt will be sent to the billing address and purchases to the delivery address.

Do you handle orders for large groups and schools?
If your school, church or craft group wish to order from us, they are most welcome to call and discuss an appropriate charging structure, GST exemption etc dependent upon order size.

What does Crafts4you do with my personal information?
In the process of completing an order placed with us it is necessary for us to collect certain information from you. The kinds of information we typically ask for include your name and address for billing and delivery purposes, day contact phone number, a contact email address for invoice and follow up communication purposes and your product preferences.
Crafts4you take the issue of customer privacy seriously. We recognize the sensitivity of your personal information and will not sell, pass on or publish any of your details to outside organizations. I live overseas, how can I order from you?
Crafts4you staff have extensive experience working and travelling outside Australia and welcome the opportunity to assist in fulfilling the craft needs and requirements of yourself and friends. We welcome overseas clients and have the following general comments for your review.
Orders exported to destinations outside Australia and it's territories do not currently attract Australian GST (10%). Our store prices
include GST (ie cost + 10%), however, subject to the appropriate regulations and documentation, Crafts4you deduct GST from your final
shopping cart total when overseas billing and delivery address details are provided.
We use Australia Post for overseas delivery services and our charges are GST exempt.
Shipping/postage costs can be prohibitive on overseas orders and we will work with you to balance cost versus delivery time. Fax or email a fax/mail order form to us and we will send a return email quoting shipping charges and estimated delivery time.
Australians purchasing goods within Australia and traveling overseas are subject to paying GST at the time of purchase and applying for a GST rebate as they depart Australia. These policies are implemented by the Federal Government and information is publicly available. Crafts4you will not deduct GST from orders being delivered within Australian States and territories unless exemption certification can be validated.
